New Orleans Mayor Willie Nagin Wants A Chocolate City

On Martin Luther King Day New Orleans mayor Willie Nagin gave a speech and in it he said he wanted to rebuild New Orleans as a Chocolate City! I guess that means I'm not welcome back because I'm Vanilla!! I think he picked the wrong dairy group because I'd describe New Orleans more as Napoleon flavored ice cream. This guy needs to be voted out of office!
Well, that's just my 2 cents!

I didn't get to go to the gym today! Of all things... I wasn't watching the time and I missed my training session with my trainer. I could have just gone to 24 to train but my legs and glutes were still sore from yesterdays workout so I ended up just taking the day off. I went to the mall to get my nails done and while I was there picked up a new shirt and stopped off at the Starbucks for an ice coffee.

Did you see the new photo sets I added to the members area? There are about five new sets so don't forget to check them out!

Can My Dog Stay At Your Hotel

I just thought this was cute!

A man wrote a letter to a small hotel in a Midwest town he planned to visit on his vacation. He wrote: "I would very much like to bring my dog with me. He is well-groomed and very well behaved. Would you be willing to permit me to keep him in my room with me at night?"

An immediate reply came from the hotel owner, who said, "I've been operating this hotel for many years. In all that time, I've never had a dog steal towels, bedclothes, silverware or pictures off the walls. I've never had to evict a dog in the middle of the night for being drunk and disorderly. And I've never had a dog run out on a hotel bill. Yes, indeed, your dog is welcome at my hotel. And, if your dog will vouch for you, you're welcome to stay here, too.

Merry Christmas!!!

I had a great Christmas even though the gym was closed. :o( I don't think it should be called 24 hour fitness if it's going to be closed for holidays but that's just my toughs. hehehehe! I did have a nice Christmas dinner at a mexican restaurant! Lots of cheese, sour cream, and more cheese! hehehehe! It was really good! :o)

Santa was really good to me this year. I got a hot pink v3 razr phone, a pink limited edition Chi Flat iron, some gym clothes, 2 pair of Nike shoes, a bottle of Guci Pink Perfume, some things from Victoria Secret, and a WHOLE CASE OF KNEE SOCKS (with the striped on the top)!

I had my bodyfat tested before Christmas and it was 13.7% at 168lbs. Hope it doesn't go up because of Christmas and all the snacks! I wanted to drop a few lbs before the Arnald Classic this year but all the rooms at the host hotel are booked up. :o( I always miss out on staying at the host hotels. They always book up so fast!!

Merry Christmas!

With Christmas and the Holiday Season here, I think we should all take a look at ways we can help others. It can be donating some money to your favorite charity or volunteering your time to help out in a shelter. If each of us just did one small thing to help someone else, we can make a huge difference. I've decided to help out with a pet therapy charity where I will be bringing my dogs to visit people in homes and hospitals. You can check out the link here for more information.

I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and pass along my wishes for a prosperous New Year. And please remember to give something of yourself this Holiday Season to help others who may not be as fortunate.

Today's Workout

Hi guys, I trained back and biceps today! I just know I'm going to be sorer!!! My new trainer, Tom Light, an Olympic trainer, ran me into the ground and had me doing things I never did before. He wanted me to do pull ups and I told him I couldn't. lol, but he made me try anyway and like I told him... I really couldn't. hehehe! Jeremy Minihan, is actually my new trainer, but lives out of state from me. He and Tom are in contact with ea. other in regards to putting together a whole new, more symmetrical look for me. For those of you who don't know Jeremy, he is the trainer that took on Sherry Smith last year and took her to 2nd place at the USA"s in the HW calss. He also trained Mimi Jabalee for this year's Nationals which she took the HW division in. I met Jeremy at last years USA thru another one of his beautiful trainees, Kim Seeley. Tom is from Webster, TX where I am now residing. He comes highly recommended by and has worked with IFBB Pro Gina Davis, and currently has a stable of athletes in prep for Olympic competetion.

Some Pictures Of Me In The Gym

Here are some pictures that of me that were taken in the gym with my camera phone. :o) I though you may enjoy seeing some offseason pictures of me.

My trainer told me to stop doing free weight squats because he doesn't want to take the chance of building up my waist. He told me to stop doing deadlifts also. I'm doing rack pulls now.
