My Flight From New York To Chicago
I'm going to keep this post short. It was pretty much the EXACT same thing as my flight from Chicago to New York except the plane didn't get turned around! We had to sit on the hot plane for 2 hours before take off because of the weather conditions and we had to fly in circles in the sky before we could land! Thank you American Airlines for this grand experience!

My Ny Trip Is Finally OVER!
Well it's time to pack and rush off to the air port. I'll be boarding the plane at about 11am so I'll be home in time to spring my 3 dogs from the kennel before I go home. I know they will be happy about that! Then it will be time to do it all over again in about a month when I leave for the USA in Las Vegas! Maybe I'll see you there! ;o)

Our flight from Chicago to New York
After the Jr. Nationals were over I went to New York to shoot with Brian Moss again. Our plane ride was something to remember!!!! It was so bad it was funny! It was like something out of a movie! Our day started out with us rushing off to the air port about 1pm. We were the last to board the plane so we had no place for our carry on's in the over head. Our seats were in the front/middle of the plane and our carry on's had to go in the very back of the plane(that was a pain the butt when it was time to get off because it meant we had to stay seated till EVERYONE ELSE exited the plane before we could get up!). They got us all boarded and kept us sitting on the hot parked plane for 1 1/2 hours before we took off because there was a bad storm over New York. We finally took off then we made circles in the air in NY for another 1 1/2 hours. Finally the pilot anounced we were running out of gas and that we would be flying BACK to Chicago!! Goodie!! The 19 year old girl sitting next to me started freaking out and crying when she heard the anouncement because she didn't like to fly and was being kept on the plane. the idea of of 2 plane rided left her crying so hard that the stewardess gave her free vodka shots to calm her. I was pinned in the middle of this and my butt, back, and head HURT! We landed in Chicago (AGAIN) and sat on the plane for another 30 mins then they let us off the plane to get food and come right back.. how nice of them! We sat on the hot PARKED plane for another 30 mins. Finally we took off again! Once again the pilot came on to anounce that instead of the flight being 1 1/2 hours it would be 2 1/2 hours because they were flying around the storm. That meant we were going to fly through Canadian air space and were headed to Vancouver, Canada so we could turn and go to New York!!! How cool is that!! Our luggage came off the belt last and the wait scared me to death because I though it they lost my luggage!! finally we got all of our luggage, dropped off out luggage at the hotel and got something to eat! It was an experience I'll never forget and as odd as it may sound I'm glad it was my day because it will give me something to remember!
The next morning I took a cab to Brian's house to shoot in his vintage 70's gym. I'll be sure to post pictures as soon as I get them. They came out GREAT!!

A Picture From The 06 Jr. Nationals Prejudging
I Made Weight!
Hi everyone, things started picking up and I had a much better day yesterday. A lot of my friends/photographers, etc. started showing up for the show and I did make weight so I'll be in the LH class. The scale was 2 lbs off so I think I'm going to be going up against some heavyweights.

My Flight To Chicago
Well, I dropped off my 3 dogs at the baby sitters (well the kennel) then left for the airport. For once I got there in time and wasn't running late so I was happy and in a good mood. I couldn't think of anything I forgot. I even packed a small ice chest type lunch box with grilled chicken, veggies, bottles of water, diet sodas, etc... Had everything I needed. Well I get to the baggage check and the lady behind the counter tells me my luggage is 25 lbs over the weight and charges me $50 for it!! How would I know how much it weighed? Then she points out that I'll be charged on all 3 flights! That's $150!!! If it was packed in 2 different suit cases it would have been fine. I guess I'll have to buy another suit case in Chicago because I'm not going home after this trip. Instead I'm flying to New York then back home to Houston. The lady also tells me that I have to many carry on's and that I'd have to check one of them. Lets just say I wasn't planning for that one! The flight was really bumpy and felt like I was on a roller coaster!! Kind of scary because I JUST opened a magazine I packed in my carry on to a page with a BIG picture of a plane crash!! Just GREAT!!!! What's the odds that I'd open to that page? Then I met Mel a stewardess on the plane. We talked about bodybuilding and the show I'm doing here in Chicago. I autographed one of my comp cards for him then latter he came back by to wish me luck in the show and gave me a gift of a bottle of wine that he had put in a bag for me. That was so sweet! After I got off the plan I went to baggage clam to pick up my luggage and mine was fine but my husbands looked like someone wet it with a garden hose and it was all beat up!!! The handle was jammed and when he pulled on it to get it up it came off in his hand! It was so funny but really wasn't funny if you know what I mean. When we got to the hotel we have a problem with the rate. Because I'm an NPC competitor I get a discount. The room should cost $149 a night but they wanted to charge me $180. We got that taken care of and right now I'm get trying to relax before the show. When I wake up I'm going to go visit the gym downstairs so I can get in my 3 hours of cardio. I'm doing an 1 1/2 hours of card in the morning before eat then latter I'll go back and do my workout for the day then follow that with another 1 1/2 hours of cardio.
Packing for the Jr. Nationals
Well it's almost show time for the 06 Jr Nationals. I'm packing my new luggage right now now and I'll be on a plan to Chaicage in just a few hours! The show is June 16th & 17th but I'm leaving a little early. I'll keep you posted!
